Competition’s good for your config

The mission of IsiSetup is to manage as many configurations as possible. Currently it’s market share is probably zero… lot of room for improvement:-)

IsiSetup is now on Freshmeat, SourceForge, SWick, and LinuxLinks.

While I added IsiSetup to Freshmeat and SourceForge, SWick and LinuxLinks did pick it up themselves. I didn’t know about SWick, but it’s a nice wiki-like webapp. From their mainpage:

SWiK is a community driven resource for open source software. Try starting a page about your favorite project, syndicating a blog for a topic, or browsing through tags people have added to projects or pages.

I’ve updated the automatic generated project page… easy! no login! just editing…

LinuxLinks is a big software directory for Linux. IsiSetup got on it’s Revision Control Section. This index is remarkable comprehensive! Among the links, I’ve found cfvers. It’s a

[…] system tool designed to help with the versioning the configuration files on a system.

Mmmhhh, sounds familiar… My feelings after a few minutes of flirting with the enemy: more mature, less ambicious.

I’ll borrow some ideas at least…
